I have been experiencing the wiredest things on my xbox. My Emulator won't play a game it used to play, Everytime i plug in my controller into port 1 XBMC goes black screen, I have FTP issues, and when i boot up my Xbox it was black with the light showing and after 30 seconds it did the boot sequence. What the heck is going on? Someone HELP ME PLZZZZ!!

Well is it softmod or chip?, can it boot at all?

1 - have you recently opened your Xbox unit for any reason? If any tiny metal fragments(like solder bits or a forgotten screw) are floating around inside it could be causing a short of some kind. Also have you inspected your controller port and plug for dust or debris?
2 - is the HDD making any whining or clicking sounds? (If so the HDD could be going.

Never mind i fixed it! I was FTP'ing inro my xbox at the time

hola que tal soy de Bolivia, tengo un problema con mi xbox normal, lo que pasa es que solo lee CDs de música y DVD, pero no lee CDs de juegos. ¿Que puede estar pasando?? por favor necesito su ayuda
