Hi, I was wounding if anyone has heard, if the makers of this site are going to launch a ps2isozone in the near future? that be really cool there are a lot of games I like on PS2

I think Jambo has answered this question before...

Not until Sony officially discontinues or stops marketing PS2 stuff. I don't know I guess it is because is still something they are worth fighting over. For some strange or sad reason they think there is still money to be made and the reality of the situation is the only money to be made off of the PS2 market is all 2nd hand... Sony isn't really seeing a dime.

yeah I believe Sony should let go of the old and move on with the new. especially if they are not making any money off it.

I believe Jambo has been getting itchy... I think I read a comment from him in one of the forums that he was thinking about going ahead and opening up a site called PS2isozone and just taking his chances... however, he must have realized that it's just not possible, or Sony is to much to fight, there has been no more talk of it.

It's a shame, I don't know why Sony is bothering trying to keep a dying flame. They already have enough to worry about with their current console as it is to be honest.

I believe it is greed on Sony's part, they probably figure that once they discontinue their ps2 line then it will relinquish their rights for ps2 and they probably know they can't do anything when peoples start downloading their games, so I believe Sony just wants to prevent that from happening. I know it suck

I too agree with Plastixblue that would be cool if their was a ps1isozone

i am almost positve there will be a psxisozone and ps2isozone as soon as sony realizes they are no longer making money of either....
but sony is still making money off psn psx games and ps2 is still throwing out random ass games its absurd but ps2 is still alive...

Oh! yes I did notice that there are some modern games on ps2 like cod: world at war; however, I don't think retailers are selling new ps2 games any more, so I guess it is just a matter of time.

Yea once the Ps3 gets modded they are hit and BROKE and they will have to throw in the towel they made a firware update to take the other os option to stop any potential linux mod unlock and using linux and putting games on it they are selling pso remakes on the psn store and theyre getting good money from it . they got me for 10 bucks for final fantasy 7 and castlevania and 15 bucks for a game they had no video of it but it is a mario knock off
there is ps home where they sell character items for a chat like second life that has a sdark light saber for 6 bucks and a golden suit for 15 its crazy

openupyourmind I liked PS Home, i used sit there the whole night when i was bored, made many friends there. But then i sold the PS3. I only bought PS3 to be able to play Metal Gear Solid 4. Mine wasnt backwards compatible with PS2 but was with PSX, and that was one of the reasons why i sold it.

Keep It Clean
