To boot burned games, you will need some kind of mod. Softmodding is by far the easy route, but modchips can bring great benefits such as not requiring a locked HDD. There are multiple tutorials on the site that can help you with modding

It is rather easy so forget all I posted earlier
All files you need are on this site.
Action Replay: [link]
Softmod Installer Delux which has all the mod files for the 3 games: [link]
Make your own USB flash drive using this tutorial.(dont worry about soldering iron, just twist wires together and use insulation tape)[link]
Install Action Replay on PC or laptop.
Connect a compatible flash drive to xbox via your DIY cable and format via xbox memory menu, then connect flash drive to PC or Laptop and transfer correct softmod files to it via action replay.
Connect to xbox via your DIY cable and transfer files to xbox.
Load game and select linux save file.
There are PDF instructions in the Softmod Installer package.
Once files are on Xbox use the youtube vid I posted earlier to guide you further if your using splinter cell method [urlhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyaYOmC88Qo&sns=em" class="submit">[link]

I'm just wondering. I have a Xbox, which is modchipped, just laying around. I don't know what to do with it. Should I use it as a Media Center or what?

and follow the instructions correctly, if at any point you get stuck PM someone in the community who is online or post a new thread, DO NOT JUST BLINDLY ATTEMPT TO CARRY ON OR YOU COULD MESS UP YOUR BOX
the people here are here to help and dont ask for anything in return

I can create the memory cards for anyone that's interested in soft modding your xbox.

$10.00 covers the cost of the memory card and shipping it.
I make nothing off of these.

All you have to do is find yourself a copy of splinter cell, and you are good to go. ($5.00 - $8.00 at the used game store.)

You'll have your xbox modded in under 5 minutes.

This will save on having to create that weird dongle thingy.
For those that haven't tried it, they are easy to make, but the are wicked picky on which usb devices you use.

I offer up my option as an alternative.

PM me if your interested.

VGA It's not arrogance, it's a philosophy! Current Consoles: Wii, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PSX, PS2, PSP, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Turbografix 16, Gameboy Advanced SP Other Interests: Refurbishing Arcade Cabinets
