Thank you, Rez. Yes, I totally agree with the games that you mentioned. For the first year I had my Wii I thought that they were never going to stop making mini game titles for it, and I was seriously craving some games with substance, but it wasn't long before they started coming like crazy.
I also forgot a couple of Nintendo franchises when I listed them above. There's Mario (including Party, Kart, etc), Kirby, Metroid, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Punchout, Smash Bros, Earthbound (oh please make a new one!).
As far as worthwhile Wii games are concerned, there are countless excellent titles. Muramasa was an awesome 2D action/RPG along the lines of Odin Sphere. I aslo liked Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon, which was not nearly as complex an RPG as other Final Fantasy games, but was very entertaining in it's own right. Mushroom Men was an excellent platformer. I thought that both No More Heroes games were very good, and even though they clearly didn't have the best graphics as far as realism is concerned, they had a nice comic book feel, and the game itself was more about gameplay than graphics anyway. Although it was a port from the Gamecube, most people consider Twilight Princess to be a Wii exclusive, and one of the best Zelda games made. I loved Metroid Prime 3, and personally felt that it was the best in the series. I just bought Other M and haven't played it yet, so I can't speak on that one. I've heard good things about the new Goldeneye and Pikachu Park, although I haven't had the opportunity to play either yet. Spectrobes was a great Pokemon-style action/RPG that many people don't mention when they speak of Wii exclusives, but it was a pretty top-notch title as well. Deadly Creature was very cool and had nice graphics for an early third-party Wii game, where else can you be a scorpion and a tarantula? Spyborgs was an awesome arcade shooter/beat-em-up by Capcom, and unfortunately most people have never even heard of it. One word describes House of the Dead: Overkill........SWEEEET! If you like on-rails shooters you have the House of the Dead 2 & 3 pack, which although not completely exclusive to the Wii, were never released anywhere else together like that. You also have two completely exclusive Resident Evil rail shooters and a Dead Space rail shooter for the Wii only.
I could go on and on and on and on, so anybody who ever tells me that there were no good exclusives on the Wii would remove any doubt in my mind that they were completely ignorant on the subject, and I could give them an even longer list of great exclusive games than what I've listed here.
