Bio
The names VGA.
That's short for the 'Video Game Authority".
For me it's not an expression of arrogance, more a reflection of my philosophy.
My true passion is the collection and archival of video games, mostly console games, both old and new.
It’s about the preservation of my youth, and finding new games that I enjoy playing.
I’ve been playing video games for over 25 years and I can’t see ever stopping.
I’ve learned to put the controller down long enough to get married, and I’d like it to stay that way!
No one has more free time then teenagers or the unemployed, and I’m neither.
So for me video games are an old friend that I get to visit with semi-often, but not often enough.
Day to day I’m a computer engineer with over a decade of experience with the Microsoft technologies.
I also teach in my spare time, educating the youth of America, and sharing my passion for knowledge, and of course videogames, with them.
I’ve been lurking in the shadows around here for the past few months, and I’m happy to become part of the team. I look forward to being able to add to the ever growing collection here.
I'm also into building one of a kind MAME Arcade Cabinets.
Don’t hesitate to PM me if you think I can help you!
