| Description | ||
| The defeat of the Covenant in the first Halo game was only a temporary victory, as the alien attackers have renewed their mission to wipe out all of humanity. Despite the human military force's and Master Chief's efforts, the Covenant have breeched the Earth's defenses and have left its inhabitants in a dismal situation. In the midst of desperation, players assume the role of Master Chief and lead the resistance against the Covenant to save the people of Earth from a gruesome demise. Halo 2 features an immense and epic single player mode, as the story picks up where it ended in the first game. In addition to the single player mode, Halo 2 also features a redesigned multiplayer mode. While the first game limited players to LAN connectivity, Halo 2 takes multiplayer missions online by way of Xbox Live. | ||

| ***ISSUE, PLEASE ADVISE*** Things starts like everything is good...then no text when menu to select what to do is up: I can only see the highlight box moving up and down. If I am luck enough to guess the right sequence, I get to the part where it asks you what level (easy, normal, hard, etc..) you want to play. Once selected, the HALO 2 screen and music are on, like game is loading....but no matter how long I wait, nothing happens. Any suggestion/help is very appreciated. | ||

| @Edugaliuxxx You need to soft mod your xbox first. Go Google "softmod xbox" or check out afterdawn.com. @S___P__Q__R See if you have any Trainers turned on for the game they might have loaded by default. | ||

| Works! 1.Download with Premium 2. Expand with TUGZip 3. Burned ISO with ImgBurn at 4x speed to Taiyo Yuden TYG02 DVD-R 4. Recognized as "Game" by Evo X dashboard on softmodded XBOX 1.0 with refurbished Thomson DVD Drive (very picky with retail disks but loves these TYG02s if game files total more than 1GB) 5. Copied to hard drive with HDDLoader 6. loads quick from Hard Drive No Problems so far Already had retail disk but crappy Thomson DVD drive thought it was dirty or damaged | ||

Hi all, my xbox360 died so im missing my reach  so i d/l'd this iso as the nxt best thing and im trying to upload just the campaign of this to my hdd (cant b botherd wif xkai if that even still works) i am fully aware of extracting iso's etc just would like to know what multiplayer files 2 take out as i cant find anything on the net of how to do this only the multiplayer only version any help wud be mucho appreciated!

This game is slightly bigger than a regular dvd. To make it fit, i deleted credits (i think it was) since they took a lot of space, and also the attraction clip that starts playing in menu if you don't press anything.
Course, you can just shove it in dvd9, but yeah i am being nasty

| I can't recall correctly, but search for "credits" and "attract" files. I think they were in media or movie section, but you might need to browse a little, since i don't have an iso anymore and don't remember. one thing though with these files, never let the game try to run them (so never watch credits or let it play attract) as there is a big chance it will just write "dirty disc". it might simply ignore the error though, so don't take my word for it

| Would these files be hidden or somthing i can't find any of them with attract or credits in the filename? ps thanx 4 takin time out 2 help igor! i deleted what i thought 2 be all the multiplayer maps but evry time i start the campaign just after ive chosen the level i get a dirty disk error dunno what im doin wrong

| no these wouldn't be hidden files mate, either .bik as they were in original halo, or .xmv or something. you get dirty disc error because game is trying to load those files you deleted. meaning they are needed for single player campaign. to fix it you just need to get back those files. i'd say keep checking which are the multiplayer maps "trial-and-error" way, you just need to put time into it. | ||

| hello friends somebody could say that happens, what happens is that I downloaded and decompressed all perfect! but when trying to play it on the xbox reconose not only recognizes it as data xbox is the problem of disk or that the other games they're going great! thanks: D | ||
