This download is Quake2x, a quake 2 port to the xbox, the files are all ready to be FTP'd, to run from a DVD you will need to make an iso. Quake II, released on December 9, 1997, is a first person shooter computer game developed by id Software and distributed by Activision. It is not a sequel to Quake; it merely uses the name of the former game due to id's difficulties in acquiring a trademark for alternative titles. The soundtrack for Quake II was mainly provided by Sonic Mayhem, with some additional tracks by Bill Brown. |

| This is an amazing port. The game never locks up, and it runs at a constant 60 FPS. Ftp'd to Xbox with flashfxp. | ||

| ok so i downloaded it, then tried to unzip it using winzip, but some the files don't get unzipped, and what is the file you need to select in order to play the game? please replysoon | ||

| hi i posted earlier about being unable to play this game. I downloaded it then i used winzip to unzip all the files, then dragged them to a new folder. as i have done this, some files had some problems but i still dragged them out. when i ftp'd the files to the xbox, i dunno what to do next. what file should i choose for playing the game. can anyone help please? r | ||

| If you ftp'd it to yer games folder, it should show up in games. Otherwise, use the file explorer and launch the .xbe file in the quake 2 folder. Thanx, and good luck. | ||
