| Quake III Arena or Quake 3, abbreviated as Q3A or Q3, is a multiplayer first-person shooter computer and video game released on December 2, 1999. The game was developed by id Software and featured music composed by Sonic Mayhem and Front Line Assembly. Quake III Arena is the third in the series and differs from previous games in the series by excluding a traditional single-player element and focusing on multi-player action. The single-player is instead played against computer controlled bots in a similar style to Unreal Tournament. | ||

not too shabby, runs good for a port, i have frame rate issues every now and then but the game is very playable, i doubt it has online play but it includes mods that iv yet to try out, and lots of cool skins, from bender from futurama, homer and marge from the simpsons, darth vader, batman which all seem to all work except for mr.burns who doesn't have a head :-\ hardcore quake 3 players will always be best off playing on the pc but its not a bad port just to f**k around with

One question: How would I go about changing the controls to make use of the XBox controller? Right now I can use the right control stick to move the menu cursor around but that's it. Thanx again!

| To extract the ISO, you need a program like Qwix. If you use a normal ISO extraction tool, it will come up as empty. | ||
