Things Needed:
-Xplorer 360 2 beta (or something like that, google it)
-one of these flash drives: http://www.xbox-linux.org/wiki/Xbox_USB_Compatibility_List#Devices_that_work
-Splinter Cell 1 for xbox
-Softmod Installer Deluxe, you dont have to use this, you can use bsod's or krayzie's ndure mod it doesnt matter. (google any of those)
-a usb to xbox controller adapter, here: http://electricquarter.com/xbox-keyboard-adapter-cable-p-35.html?osCsid=4b3a46c7832f35d737e76ce5f4e75d81 (so you can plug flash drive into xbox)
-an Xbox DUHHH

First, you need to get any softmod pack, which they're all over the internet. Here's a link to SID, the one i used: http://www.aideluxe.com/index.php?title=Softmod_Installer_Deluxe (if you want to know how to use the installer, look around on the website, its got great tutorials on actually using the installer). Next, you'll want to plug in your flash drive to the xbox using the usb to xbox adapter to format it to fatx. You will know if it is formatted if it says something along the lines of, "Error reading memory unit" or "Memory unit is not formatted correctly, now formatting" or something like that. Then, using Xplorer 360, you'll move the softmod files into the formatted flash drive. You can do this by going to Drive>Open>Memcard or Harddrive then there should be a drive in the program called "Partition 0" or something like that. Click through the softmod files until you get to udata, and click and drag those files into the xplorer 360 program, and they should start transferring onto the flash drive. When that is done, turn on your xbox first before you plug your flash drive in. Next transfer the sid installer gamesave and the splinter cell gamesave onto your xbox. Then put in splinter cell and load up the gamesave that says "linux" ( you might have to delete all other profiles for this game). Then, when its loaded, use all of the backup options, or else it wont let you continue with the softmod. Picking all of the options for the install is up to you. Hope this helped.
